Plymouth's "A Beach House Oceanfront B&B":

It's not a bridge too far — rather it's just far enough down the winding road to be off the beaten path, but convenient to the areas history, harbors, and highlights! Our secluded bed and breakfast provides the perfect romantic getaway and is convenient to local historic attractions.

The Beach House Oceanfront is a great location from which to plan day-trips to other attractions in the area. See our 7-day planner for ideas for visiting historic landmarks within an hours travel from the beaches, local activities and tours.

A Wildlife Wonderland

A Beach House Oceanfront Bed & Breakfast is situated in an amazing wildlife habitat, fronting onto Cape Cod Bay, with all its sea birds and a colony of harbor seals from October to May. On especially clear days, one can see the entire expanse of the Bay embraced by the arm of Cape Cod itself.

In autumn and winter, harbor seals jockey for position on the rocks in the bay. You can hear them talking to each other from our sundeck. Watch the lobster men pull their pots in the morning during breakfast on the deck. Flanked by Center Hill and Black Pond, the area is rich with birdlife... Finches, Cardinals, Mockingbirds and Swans live alongside Terns, Great Blue Heron, Snowy Egrets, Loons, and Sandpipers. Guests have seen deer families as they slowly make their way down Black Pond Lane in the evening.

Historic Plimoth
In the heart of Historic New England, Plymouth offers myriad opportunities for getting in touch with the past.

Award-winning Plimoth Plantation, where incredibly well versed interpreters, in character, in costume and in century, share a wealth of knowledge of life in the 1622 Pilgrim village Watch them sow, harvest, thatch, make barrels, tend their animals, and drill their militia. Visit gardens of heirloom plants, see the Wampanoags build their homes, make their leather goods, and harvest their fields as they teach the Pilgrims skills that enabled them to survive the harsh winters.

Visit the Old Court House and Cole's and Burial Hills and do a rice paper rubbing of some of the country's oldest gravestones. Pilgrim Hall Museum has artifacts, literature and lore that will shed a bright light on the Pilgrim experience in the "New World." Historic homes like Harlow,Hedge House offers a walk back in time and a first-had view of Plymouth through the centuries.
